Success in this position is achieved by effectively leading the technical process of making Rx eyewear; ensuring that process standards are in place and followed, and by identifying and counteracting root causes of process deviation, quality defects and rework. You will be more process/technically focused, while the Operations Supervisor will be more operations and employee focused, but there is a blurred line between your two positions. That means that beyond your technical prowess, you must be comfortable coaching operators and leads, participating in employee reviews, and effectively communicating with the team.

In addition, to be an outstanding Process Control Supervisor, you will:
  • Use sound judgment, logic and common sense when making decisions and problem solving.
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Effectively communicate with various levels and titles, from senior leadership to operators on the floor.
  • Combine self motivation with the drive to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Be highly results oriented with demonstrated skill at balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Continue to learn and enhance your skills.
  • Model professionalism and a strong work ethic.
